Our bright and inviting classrooms
Our classrooms are bright and inviting, designed to create a welcoming and inspiring learning environment for all students. Located within modern buildings, our facilities feature spacious, well-lit rooms equipped with the latest technology to support innovative teaching and active learning. These contemporary spaces are thoughtfully designed to foster creativity, collaboration and engagement, ensuring every student feels comfortable and motivated to achieve their best.
Our technology and coding hub
Our technology and coding hub is a dynamic space where students explore the exciting world of digital innovation. Equipped with upgraded devices, including iPads and new computers, the hub offers a hands-on learning experience through engaging coding activities. Students enjoy programming with Sphero robots, allowing them to develop problem-solving and computational thinking skills in a fun and interactive way. This facility supports a wide range of computer programs designed to inspire creativity and prepare our students for the future.
A well-stocked library for reading and research
Our well-stocked library is a vibrant hub for reading and research, offering a wide variety of books, resources and reference materials to support students’ learning and curiosity. Designed as a comfortable and quiet space, it encourages students to explore new ideas, develop a love of reading and enhance their research skills.
Our gardening club
Our Good Chives Gardening Club offers students a hands-on opportunity to connect with nature by growing a variety of fresh produce in our school garden. Participants take pride in nurturing plants from seed to harvest, learning valuable skills in gardening and sustainability along the way. The club also encourages creativity, as students sell their homegrown vegetables and use the produce to cook delicious, healthy meals. This engaging program fosters teamwork, responsibility and a deeper appreciation for wholesome, homegrown food.
The basketball court
Our outdoor basketball court, enhanced with a new shade cloth, provides a comfortable and vibrant space for students to enjoy active play throughout lunch and recess. The shaded area ensures protection from the sun, making it perfect for friendly games and skill-building sessions all year round. In addition to daily student activities, the court proudly hosts our PSSA home games, bringing the school community together to support and celebrate our teams in an exciting and welcoming environment.
Our expansive oval
Our expansive grass oval offers a spacious and natural setting for students to engage in a variety of games and activities during lunch and recess. This vibrant outdoor area is perfect for running, playing sports and enjoying active breaks throughout the day. It also serves as the primary training ground for our PSSA teams, providing ample space for skill development and team practice as our students prepare for competitive matches. The oval is a valued part of our school, promoting health, fitness and teamwork.
Our play equipment
Our modern outdoor play equipment, generously funded by the P&C, offers an exciting and engaging space for students to enjoy during lunch and recess. Featuring an obstacle course, a fun slide, a sturdy climbing frame, comfortable seating areas and a welcoming yarning circle, this play area encourages physical activity, social interaction and creative play.
