“Hello and welcome to Penshurst West Public School!
I’m thrilled to introduce myself as the proud Principal of Penshurst West, where our school motto genuinely rings true this is a place "where children love to learn!" Every day here is bursting with energy, curiosity, and discovery. Our students are motivated, happy learners who share their journeys with good friends in a vibrant and well-resourced environment.
There’s so much to love about our school! We’re set on a huge, grassy playground with plenty of space to run, play, and just enjoy being kids. Our core values inspire everything we do quality teaching, teamwork, supportive leadership, high expectations, and celebrating the amazing diversity among our students and staff.
Growth is our number one priority, and that goes for everyone! Our students achieve strong academic results, whether they are highly gifted, learning English as another language, or supported by our terrific learning support team and dedicated teachers. We’re all about providing opportunities: extension and differentiation for gifted and high potential learners, strong support programs for students with disabilities, and vibrant welfare initiatives that make everyone feel safe, happy, and excited to come to school.
